1. Definitions

  • "Gradient" means Gradient, an online AI development school registered in Chon Buri, Thailand.
  • "Service" means the online learning programmes, materials, mentorship, and related resources provided by Gradient.
  • "User" means any individual who accesses our website or enrols in a programme.
  • "Agreement" means these Terms & Conditions together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
  • "Content" means all text, video, code examples, exercises, and other materials made available through our programmes.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website or enrolling in any programme, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

Our programmes are open to individuals aged 18 or older who have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement. Individuals under 18 may only enrol with the written consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Service Description

Gradient offers online AI development programmes delivered in English. Current programmes include:

  • First Steps in AI Development — an introductory programme covering Python basics, simple data work, and core machine-learning concepts.
  • Practical ML Series — a hands-on series for learners with foundational Python knowledge, covering data preparation, model building, and portfolio project work.
  • Guided Capstone & Mentorship — a mentor-supported track for committed learners building a complete AI project with individual guidance.

We aim to make our programmes available continuously but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to update programme content to reflect developments in the field.

4. User Accounts

Access to programme materials may require you to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that breach these terms.

5. User Responsibilities

When using our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and current information when registering or enquiring.
  • Use learning materials solely for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
  • Respect the intellectual property rights of Gradient and third parties.
  • Refrain from sharing, reproducing, or distributing course materials without prior written permission.
  • Engage with the programme in good faith and with reasonable effort — outcomes depend on individual practice and time invested.
  • Treat Gradient staff and any fellow learners with courtesy and respect.

Prohibited activities include, but are not limited to: attempting to reverse-engineer our platform, harvesting data from our site, or using our content in ways that violate applicable law.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, materials, and course designs are the property of Gradient or its licensors and are protected by Thai and international intellectual property law. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and use the materials solely for your own learning within the scope of your enrolled programme. No other rights are granted.

Any work you produce as part of programme exercises remains your own; however, you grant Gradient a non-exclusive licence to use anonymised, non-identifiable samples of learner work for educational demonstration purposes.

7. Payment & Refunds

Programme fees are stated in Thai Baht (฿) and are payable in advance. Current fees are:

  • First Steps in AI Development — ฿4,500
  • Practical ML Series — ฿9,500
  • Guided Capstone & Mentorship — ฿32,000

Accepted payment methods will be confirmed at the time of enrolment. We reserve the right to update pricing; changes do not affect already-paid enrolments.

Refund policy: Requests made within 7 days of payment and before accessing any materials will be considered for a full refund. After materials have been accessed, refunds are assessed on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. No refunds are available after 30 days from the payment date. To request a refund, contact us at [email protected].

8. Enrolment Terms

Enrolment is confirmed upon receipt of payment and our written confirmation. Access to materials is provided as described in the programme details. Completion of a programme requires consistent personal effort; we do not issue certificates of completion and make no representations about outcomes beyond the educational content delivered.

We reserve the right to decline or cancel an enrolment where a learner is found to have misrepresented their eligibility or to have breached these Terms.

9. Disclaimers

Our programmes are provided for educational purposes only. While we work to ensure materials are accurate and current, we make no warranties that the content will meet every learner's specific needs or that skills developed will be sufficient for any particular professional requirement. Learning outcomes vary with individual effort, prior experience, and dedication.

Our services are provided on an "as is" basis. We do not warrant that our platform will be error-free or available without interruption.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Thai law, Gradient shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, our services. Our total liability for any claim related to the programmes shall not exceed the amount you paid for the programme giving rise to the claim.

We are not liable for events beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, infrastructure failures, or changes in law.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Gradient harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, your misuse of our services, or your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate an enrolment arrangement with reasonable notice. Gradient reserves the right to suspend or terminate access without prior notice if a user materially breaches these Terms. Upon termination, your right to access materials ceases immediately. Provisions regarding intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

13. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of Thailand. We encourage informal resolution first: please contact us at [email protected] and we will make good-faith efforts to address your concern within 15 business days. If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, it shall be submitted to the competent courts of Chon Buri Province, Thailand.

14. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, form the entire agreement between you and Gradient.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
  • Waiver: Failure to enforce any provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights in connection with a business transfer.
  • Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or to our registered address.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by a revised "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
