Do I need any prior programming experience?
The First Steps programme is designed for people with no coding background at all. It introduces Python from scratch, at a supported pace. The Practical ML Series does assume you have written some Python before — not a lot, but enough to follow along comfortably.
How much time per week should I expect to spend?
That depends on the programme and your pace. First Steps works well with around six to eight hours per week. The ML Series typically suits people who can commit eight to twelve hours. The Capstone track varies more because it is tied to the scope of your individual project. Your mentor will help you set a realistic schedule.
Are the programmes fully online?
Yes. All materials, exercises, and feedback are delivered online. Capstone mentorship sessions are conducted via video call, so you can take part from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.
What does the feedback on exercises actually look like?
You submit exercises and receive written notes from a reviewer — not just a pass/fail mark. The notes point to specific things you did well and specific areas to revisit, so the feedback is something you can act on.
Will I receive a certificate when I finish?
Completion of each programme is documented, but the primary evidence of your progress is the work you produce — your exercises, projects, and Capstone portfolio. These are concrete outputs that reflect what you have actually learned and built.
Can I move from one programme to the next?
The programmes are designed with progression in mind. First Steps leads naturally into the ML Series, and the ML Series prepares you for the Capstone. If you have existing skills, we can discuss which starting point makes most sense for you.
